One of the most reccommended stones I suggest to clients is a carnelian.  Carnelian is a gentle Agate that can help heal the sacral chakra where much trauma is stored.  Particularly trauma's related to any type of physical abuse.  All of that can get stored in the sacral chakra.  Crystals and stones have a structured order.  By wearing them, they can help bring balance to areas of incoherence.
